CommonWealth Magazine recently released its ‘Taiwan’s Best University Rankings,’ placing Ming Chuan University at seventh in the nation for the Humanities and Social Sciences category and thirteenth among private universities. The university exhibited exceptional performance in teaching quality and internationalization, indicating that Ming Chuan University is not only dedicated to enhancing teaching standards and fostering students’ fundamental abilities but also committed to nurturing academically competitive individuals on an international scale.

The survey for the ‘Taiwan’s Best University Rankings,’ conducted by CommonWealth Magazine, primarily utilizes data from the Ministry of Education’s public information on higher education institutions. It also references the Scopus database from ELSEVIER, a Dutch company, to optimize indicators. The evaluation covers six major aspects: social reputation, academic achievements, teaching performance, internationalization, industry-academic cooperation, and financial strength. In 2023, the number of detailed indicators has increased to 48, aiming to align with the diverse values of society. Among these indicators, in terms of the ‘Ratio of International Students,’ Ming Chuan University ranks fifth nationwide.
