MC Weekly is published weekly during the semester (except for midterm and final exam weeks), and e-news will be announced during the winter and summer breaks. Any news can be announced by e-bulletin.
The newest MC Weekly is available on the news racks on both Taipei, Taoyuan and Jihe every Monday. At Kinmen and Matzu every Wednesday, and online for Michigan location. All faculty and staff members and students are welcome to take a copy of MC Weekly or read it online.
MC Weekly solicits articles about special subjects far in advance; please e-mail your article related to the subject to firstname.lastname@example.org (link sends e-mail). For any other interesting subjects, you are welcome to provide your suggestion by sending an e-mail or making a phone call. Your articles are welcome; following editing, they will be arranged for publication.
There are two ways to announce news, one is to inform MC Weekly about the activity information and contact person; one is to contact MC Weekly reporters and they will write the news for publication. However, the news priority will be arranged in accordance with the activity date. Please provide the news or contact with MC Weekly before Wednesday for any activity coming up the following week.
There is no limit of year-level or department. All we require is your passion, responsibility and patience. Those who are eager to learn reporting, writing and feature design are welcome.
We also need reporters who are good at photography, drawing and distribution. Students can be MC Weekly reporters in accordance with their specialties.

The Public Relations Section distributes news announcements and holds press conferences regarding institutional affairs development, campus culture and features, and educational achievements so that parents and others better understand the institution’s educational philosophy and prospects.
The Public Relations Section is not only the window of the university to communicate with media, but also a hub to deliver the on- and off-campus news. It is in charge of media affairs, updating reporters’ database, holding press conferences, promoting media relations, maintaining news on MCU website, writing and announcing news related to the university’s anniversary, big events, seminars and lectures.
For any news related to interesting events, special students, meaningful activities, please e-mail to email@example.com a week before the activity will take place for announcement or press conference. Please attach the content of the activity, contact person, unit and telephone number for further details and process.
If you have any news related to your department and would like to announce it, please e-mail the relevant information to firstname.lastname@example.org of the Public Relations Section. The Public Relations Section will collect and compile the relevant information in accordance with the date and information submitted. The collected information will be produced as a CD-ROM or an e-mail to be sent to the relevant media units. It will be also announced in the News Section of MCU homepage.
1. Internal audit: The internal audit is implemented by the staff of the on-campus Audit Office, and evaluated individually in accordance with the internal operation process. The purpose is to evaluate if all the administrative staff members follow the internal control system from the perspective of system regularity or irregularity.
2. Financial audit: The financial audit is implemented by an accounting firm and emphasizes financial controls on income and expenditure, the review of original documentation, accounting documentation and financial reports, and the evaluation of financial performance.
1. The internal auditors must establish the auditing plan after evaluating the institutional work cycle and risk. The auditing plan must include auditing items, targets, implementation period, work procedures, key audit points and audit result. The work procedures and key audit points are established in accordance with the arranged audit items which can be adjusted in accordance with the audit status.
2. Institutional audit can be divided into planned audit and special audit according to the conditions.
3. Auditing implementation:
(1)The auditing unit must communicate with the administrator of the audited unit in advance to coordinate the auditing time and relevant affairs.
(2)The auditing unit must inform the audited unit 7 days ahead of the audit.
(3)When implementing an audit, the process of the auditing must be recorded in the working draft as evidence for the auditing report.
(4)When implementing an audit, the audited staff members must provide the relevant information and answer all questions accurately.
(5)When implementing an audit, the auditor must clarify any unsuitable items with the administrator of the audited unit.
(6)The auditor must record all the items which require improvement in the “Internal Audit Observation, Suggestion and Feedback Record” during the auditing process.
